Diagnostics are performed every time before and after every service, as a matter of course. All our service quotes will include diagnostics checks. This is to ensure that the vehicle is top condition before it leaves us. It is worth mentioning, that not all sensor and equipment faults are shown up on the dash, hence they may not be noticeable to the driver.
This is because only the most critical ones, related either to safety systems (like ABS) or dangerous to the vehicle itself (complete sensor failures, wiring shorts) will bring on the Service Light on the dash or may reflect on its' performance. All others will not be noticeable until connected to diagnostic equipment.
