Equipment can be provided in different packages: from ones based on a notebook PC, which would be ideal for a technician on the move, and up to roller cabinets with touch screen LCD displays, which would be suitable for a professional workshop or a garage.

 

For Motorcycles

biketech.jpgThe kits we supply are based on Bike Tech OBD interface.

This professional multi-make OBD tool is an easy to use PC based device which currently works on Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Gas-Gas, Ducati & Triumph electronic fuel injection systems. Coverage for other bikes will be made available via updates.

Sensor data and settings can be displayed in real time and fault codes can be displayed and/or reset. Live data can be displayed either in a Data Screen with numeric and bar displays or 4 variables can be displayed as scrolling graphs. All live tests can be saved for future comparison and for your records. Tests can be replayed exactly as they were recorded and all sensor data can be printed at any point in time.

It also features a data recording facility allowing you to record runs (either on the road or on a dyno) of several miles for later viewing and analysis. The OBD interface is disconnected from the PC and left on the bike where it records all data just as though the PC were connected. Afterwards, all the data can be uploaded, replayed and saved to the PC for future use.

Data variables can be displayed as either bar chart or as a graph: Throttle Position, RPM, Engine Coolant Temperature, Intake Temperatures & Pressures, Lambda (Oxygen) Sensor Readings, Battery Voltage, Injection Pulse Width, Secondary Throttle Position, Ignition Advance, Exhaust Valve Operation are all displayed as variables. Additionally information like gear, road speed and status for fuel pumps, fans, tip–over sensor, clutch & side stand status is available. Specific data availability varies from model to model as it is provided by the manufacturer.

Supplied with all connectors, datalink cable + software. Uses universal technology - USB connectivity and SD card memory provide expandability and future-proofing.

We can supply this kit in a few basic integrations:

  • on a notebook PC (which is ideal for a technician on the move or a race-tech).
  • on a desktop PC for static placement in a workshop.
  • fully integrated into a roller cabinet, providing mobility, protection for the equipment, storage for other diagnostic and electrical items.

Options available:

  • Wireless LAN for connecting to workshops' network and downloading updates from internet
  • Touch screen LCD to make operating the station easier(for PC & roller cab kits)
  • LCD Monitor mounted on a flexible arm, allowing to position it in just the right place for the operator (for PC & roller cab kits)

All cables and software supplied with the kit are full official versions, geared up to provide the maximum available functionality and reliability, while offering a huge cost saving in comparison with dedicated manufacturers' tools.
